This was first time in year I didn't go to Taiteiden Yö with intention to shoot videos. Few years ago there were many events out doors to shoot. Last years there have been more events but almost everything has been indoors. I made this choice after trying to figure out what to shoot and finding only one which would work as video. Next year I probably just go there to enjoy the events and forget video and stills. This is what I got this year.
We would have had long lunar eclipse if it didn't happen behind clouds. Here are some shots I took instead of lunar eclipse. To be honest I had wrong camera gear with me to shoot moon so it wasn't such a loss for me. I only missed the experience.
I went back to frozen sea yesterday. It was really cold and windy. Today should be even colder. After tomorrow it should get bit warmer. Not to normal temperatures of this time of the year but warmer. I don't remember walking on ice after I moved to Helsinki before Saturday. When I moved here I didn't live close to see. When I moved closer to sea there haven't been real winters.

Shooting Christmas lights at Christmas eve night is becoming my new Christmas tradition. I did that last year and this year. I spend about three hours at center of Helsinki. I had to get back bit earlier because I forgot to take spare batteries. I started to get bit cold but battery running out was the reason I left early. I had another camera with me but I didn't want to shoot video with it. I wanted to shoot the whole video with same camera.

I have nothing to do with these videos. I found them informative and funny enough to share here. And I didn't anything interesting to talk or show. It is darkest time of the year and everything is dark and cold. I wanted my own content to the post so picture below is taken by me few years ago before I started to make videos. It is topic related.

Without Climate change we would have snow by now. We have had snow couple days but no more that two days at the time. I don't want snow that much but if it is going to be cold it could have snow too. This is winter in Finland. So there were almost nobody around. If you have followed me on Instagram you have seen these places couple times before.
